One of the mainstay tanks of the German army, the Panzer III Ausf. J is a varient of the Panzer III with a 50mm cannon and side skirts. It is a decent all-round tank, but should not be used alone.
In-game[]
The Panzer III J is quite effective in the early stages of the game, where it can disable armoured cars with immpunity thanks to its armor. It will begin to struggle in the middle of the game, where its armor is no longer as effective. In addition, the enemy will by now be deploying heavier tanks, such as the Matilda and Crusader (British) or M24 Chaffee's and M4A3 Shermans (American) against which the 50mm cannon will struggle to get past the armor, and so it is recommended that it either be replaced by Panzer IV's or delegated to infantry support roles, where it will face either infantry or armoured cars.
