The Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO) was a German light tracked vehicle designed because of the poor performance of wheeled and half-tracked vehicles in mud and snow at the Soviet Front. It was reliable, easy to maintain and could take over a variety of roles in all kinds of terrain.
