The United States are one of the playable factions in Men of War. The United States Served in WWII for many years, fighting side to side with the Commonwealth and the Soviet Union against Germany, Italy, and Japan.

History

The United States joined the war in December of 1941 after the surprise attack on the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii by the Japanese.

Usage

The United States are the harder factions to play. Even with this in mind, keep your focus on the early and mid game. Never let you opponent reach late game units. Your amazing infantry and Rangers will easily keep and take objectives while the mobile sherman could take out early enemy tanks with flanking tactics. Use your mobile tanks to support your infantry and obliterate enemy infantry while using your infantry to take out gun mounts. The 101st Airborne is the US signature units, Have them disrupt an enemy's defense and offensive as well.

While it does pack the best infantry in the game and the best versatile tank, it still falters at late game. The loss of a sherman or a a big percentage of your infantry WILL kill your offensive as the infantry are expensive and that shermans in small amount are easy targets for anti-tank weaponry.
